Six months ago, my lower back crumbled with paralyzing pain, and it happened again a month later -- but this time, the severe pain would not subside after two weeks, and I went to see a well-respected orthopedic. MRI diagnosis showed a 5mm-slipped disc at the bottom of my spine, and I was asked to see a physical therapist in order to avoid surgery. I chose to initially go to a chiropractor instead, but that was a mistake. Read on to see why.

Review: Mammoth Cave

Read: 3 mins. Mammoth Cave in Utah was fun for our group of 11 adults, and the children we met there also enjoyed their time. The Caves were apparently formed about 2,000 years ago by volcanic lava flow, and exploring 3 of the 4 caves was quite an adventure!

Review: Yaeger Services

Read: 3 mins. Our furnace attic was on a 1999 recall list, and sadly, the owner we purchased the house from did not take advantage of the free replacement. The Premier furnace was responsible for a number of deaths and house fires, and went out of business in the early 2000's. After having done a lot of research and interviewing a handful of heating contractors, we came across Yaeger Services on Angie's List. Here is our experience with them.
