Electric bikes changed me, a former rider who preferred manual pedaling for exercise and health reasons, because they have allowed our family to venture out longer distances and visit more places. My brother's family had since joined our outings and amusingly, he had come to like my Metakoo Cybertrack 100 mountain eBike more and more. He originally was going to buy a Metakoo, too, but eventually asked me to evaluate the 26" Ancheer AM001907/AN-EB001. Its specs looked much better on paper, addressed some of the shortcomings I criticized the Cybertrack 100 for, but came with its own issues. How did the Ancheer compare?

Review: Gyroor C3 Electric Bicycle (Semi-Foldable)

Read: 9 mins. Biking is a form of exercise and adding an electric motor gives me some mixed feelings. On the other hand, assisted pedaling or fully motorized transportation is a great way to explore difficult or far-reaching areas normally inaccessible to the casual bicyclist. Rides with friends used to be a regular weekend activity before having kids where I purposely chose to be on a mountain bike going around 10 mph. This was to slow myself down for the relaxed riders in the group. Recently, however, my wife wanted to get a motorized bike for her mother so she could join us for family rides. We ultimately decided on the semi-foldable Gyroor C3.
